About the event
Join us Sunday, September 20, at 6 PM for an intimate chamber concert with violinist Anna Luebke and cellist Alison Bazala Kim at Forward Brewing in Eastport. We’ll be raising a draft to toast a new collaboration with the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra on a custom beer, Fermata. It’s a light and tasty Hefeweizen, perfect for enjoying an Annapolis summer night.
In music, a fermata ( 𝄐 ) signals that a note, chord, or rest should be held beyond its usual length. It is a moment to pause, linger, and listen. A hefeweizen is a traditional German wheat beer, known for its lively character and bright, distinctive flavors.
Together, the name Fermata captures the spirit of the evening: a time to slow down, enjoy time with friends, and celebrate the season with music, community, and a beer created especially for the occasion.
