Forward & Fish For A Cure
Boat Day Kolsch is Forward Brewing’s flagship beer. It is a lightly dry hopped, crushable brew, designed for days spent on the water, which makes it a perfect fit for a collaboration with Fish For A Cure (F4AC).
The Cause: F4AC LHAAMC programs provide social, emotional, physical, and psychological support for patients and families as they navigate treatment and recovery from illness. Donors’ charitable gifts toward F4AC support more than 2,000 of our friends, loved ones, and neighbors experiencing the unique challenges of a cancer diagnosis with access to critically needed psychosocial services, including nurse navigation, nutrition counseling, psychosocial well-being, and oncology rehabilitation services.

The Collaboration: LaxFish was established in 2016 by members and supporters of the Maryland lacrosse community to support a cause that provides the critical services highlighted above to anyone impacted by cancer, which are not covered by insurance. From raising $8,000 our first year in 2016, LaxFish’s 2022 fundraising was $129,000, resulting in a to-date contribution of $412,000. LaxFish is honored to be a participant in F4AC and the fleet-wide total contributions of over $4.5 million over the past 16 years. F4AC and LaxFish have partnered with Forward Brewing to expand awareness and support of the LHAAMC Cancer Survivorship program.
