Tiny Dragon Beer Release for Conservation Education

Come celebrate the release of Tiny Dragon and learn about rare Maryland species! The Gray Petaltail is one of Maryland's most impressive dragonflies: 3 inches long and flying up to 60 mph. It belongs to the oldest living family of dragonflies which have been eating mosquitoes since the time of the dinosaurs. This vulnerable species breeds in groundwater-fed springs, so its survival depends upon preserving clean water - just like ours.
